We check every claim against primary sources, separate vendor marketing from what the numbers actually show, and tell you who each tool is for.

Our principles

No sponsored rankings. No company can pay for coverage, a better verdict, or a place in a comparison.

Sources on every post. Prices, dates and benchmark numbers come from official announcements, docs and pricing pages, or from multiple independent outlets that agree. Each article lists its sources, and vendor-reported benchmarks are labelled as vendor-reported.

How we write. We use AI tools in our research and drafting process, the same tools we write about. Every article is checked against its sources before publishing. When we say we tested something hands-on, we did; otherwise the article is analysis of published data.

Corrections. AI tools change weekly. When a fact goes stale or we get something wrong, we fix the article and add a dated correction note at the bottom. Spotted an error? Email us.

Independent. We are not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, or any tool we cover.
